DannyM8 Even though the young girls hair looks darker in this they appear to be the same children as in the Christmas shot. Looking at the leaves on the lawn it would appear to have been taken in Autumn - probably late August early September? I suspect that the creeper on the house behind the group was full of colour at that time as well, probably a bright orange or red!

If they are the same children, one of the dates is wildly wrong: this is 1873, the Christmas shot is 1894.

DannyM8 Swordscookie I think it's just a family resemblance between children a generation apart.

Marta It was various members of the Dillon family of Clonbrock Estate who took all of the Clonbrock photos in our collections. They were incredibly keen and gifted early amateur photographers.
