    P.S. Fógra: Our curator of photographs here at the National Library, Elizabeth Kirwan, is looking for some help. She hopes to identify the women in this Liberty Hall photograph, and to establish the date it was taken. It's been languishing rather unloved here for almost 13 years. So it'd be great if some of ye could help us revisit it, once you've finished with today's photograph, of course!

Vincent O' Connell, fourth son of Henry O'Connell, grocer, of Dundalk, and his wife, Mary, was born in Co. Louth in 1882 or 1883. He became a pupil in the office of of HAGUE & amp; MCNAMARA in Dublin(1) before setting up in practice in Earl Street, Dundalk, in 1906 or earlier. He was appointed engineer to the Newry Port and Harbour Trust in 1910 in succession to JAMES BARTON (2) and had opened a branch office in Newry by the autumn of 1911.(3) He married after 1911, when, according to the 1911 census, he was still living as a bachelor with his parents in Earl Street, Dundalk.
