The ships are camouflaged. It must be close to 1914, WW1 ? en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ship_camouflage

They look a bit pre-dreadnought, with those untidy lines; they might be the 6 ships of the Duncan class. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Duncan-class_battleship

Possibly 1899? Madam, - In the Lawrence Collection there is a photograph of the Channel Squadron of the Royal Navy at anchor in Killary Harbour in the West of Ireland. I have researched this considerably and have concluded that it was on the morning of Sunday, October 8th 1899. I think this may be a reverse shot, though the donkey is now labelled a pony.

The church was begun in 1863. The DIA claims it was dedicated in 1863. Designed by William Edward Corbett.

It's not every house that was once home to the family of the man who ended French rule in India. But Ash Hill Towers in Kilmallock is the Limerick home that once housed the Coote family, descendants of Lt. Gen. Sir Eyre Coote of the British army who defeated the French and ended their rule in India in 1783.

From the B&B history page - www.ashhill.com/about-us " ... some parts of the house, including the towers, were removed in the early 1960's." Also another front-on photo of the building in "1912 or 1913", where the ivy is higher than in this photo. I think this photo is c. 1910.
