This is a rare photo of Electric Bogie Water Sprinkler tram, as built c.1912-14. Used by N.S.W. Govt. tramways to water streets to lay the dust, before sealing of street surfaces.

For some extra information Leo Buring is considered by some to be the father of Australian wine making, being one of the first to export wine overseas. He experimented with making sparkling whites and burgundys, maybe using this table? which was used to hold bottles upside down allowing the debri to collect in the neck. You can still buy Leo Buring Rielslings..Yum!
