    It is a Hanriot HD.1. This plane was used in several movies, including one starring Nungesser himself (The Sky Raider). The plane is still around, and is on display at the Planes of Fame Air Museum in Chino, California.

    Thanks Rick Vince and swanq. I always like being able to add the woman's name when they aren't listed. I'm guessing that the 10/20/23 date was when it was taken. I bet Bain circulated this photo again on the second date, 4/29/27 which was shortly before Nungesser attempted to be the first to cross and the Atlantic but unfortunately went missing and is presumed to have crashed into the ocean.
