    Although it was around eight hundred years old when the photo was taken in the 1860s the cross still looked comparatively new. Just goes to show the pollution that has occurred over the past hundred plus years. Industrial revolution and all that.

Just realised that I went down to O'Mahony's books shop that featured recently in your Limerick shots to buy them. One of my sisters and later my niece worked there and they had (and still have) a fantastic stock of books.
