Negative has a date of 8/3/23, but that is a likely re-use, dating as it does to the day after Warren G. Harding died and VP Calvin Coolidge became president (he was notified and sworn in as President at the family farm). There are a number of photos of Coolidge (as Massachusetts governor) milking cows at his father's farm in Plymouth Notch, VT. Here is one published in a newspaper in July, 1920: chroniclingamerica.loc.gov/lccn/sn84031081/1920-07-31/ed-...

Thanks for drawing our attention to the matching image, swanq! And Art Siegel for making that connection to the newspaper publication with that image of Coolidge milking a cow!

Thomas-Morse (de Havilland) DH-4B 22-1196 of the USAAS from Langley Field static at Bolling Field ca. 1924. (Maybe this was the occasion when President Coolidge ("Silent Cal") was attributed with the quote, "Why can't we just buy them one nice aircraft and let them take turns flying it?" 90+years later, he's almost gotten his wish...)
