Born 1883. The 1891 census 1891 census records him living with his parents William [b.1855 Chalfont St Peter, Bucks] and Elizabeth [b.1851 Westcott?, Oxon] and younger sister Laura M [b.1885 Fulmer]. Is father is employed as a domestic servant [Gardener]. The census summery sheet does not record a particular address but many of those living in the village [Fulmer] seem to be domestic servants possibly in the employ of Lord Algernon Seymore whose estate adjoins the village. He married Alice Emma Ball on 11th November 1905 at Holy Trinity Church, Hounslow. The marriage register records that he was living in Staines Road, Hounslow and that his occupation was as a Clerk. The National Probate Calendar records the same information as the War Graves Photographic project inasmuch as the address of his marital home was 47 Gordon Avenue, St Margaret’s on Thames, Middlesex. Further that his estate was valued at £77 16s 10d
