I know what "circa" means, but just for clarity, this cannot be earlier than 1916 because the steel helmet wasn't with the troops until April 1916 at the earliest.

Photo probably dates from November 1910. The November 14th edition of the NY Times describes the National Horse Show Association in Madison Square Garden, and notes the presence of foreign officers including: Colonel P. A. Kenna, VC; Lieutenants Geoffrey Brooke and C. F. Walwyn of the Royal Horse Artillery; and Lieutenant Walter Brooke of the Yorkshire Light Artillery.
