Blanche Pierce Stenbeigh Bonaparte
From her Find-a-grave entry:
Blanche and Jerome N. Bonaparte had no children but they had a lot of society. Blanche was a bit of a social climber and she reached the summit after she married Bonaparte.
If that seems a little harsh consider it was written by her grandson. Pay attention to the dog - it (or more likely on of its descendants) comes into play 20 years later. From her husband's find-a-grave entry:Having inherited a fortune, Jerome Napoleon Charles Bonaparte never had a job or practiced a profession. He ended his rather useless existence in Central Park. Walking his wife's dog he stumbled over its leash and broke his neck.
