    Actually During WWII there where two airports in Bar Harbor one was NAAS Bar Harbor which was located in trenton and Bar Harbor Municable my guess is that almost all of these were from Bar harbor Munc. the shots of the runways don't show the Dumby Arresting setup that was at NAAS bar Harbor. nor does it show any of the USN/RN-Fleet Air Arms buildings. The hanger looks to be one of the old Wright Flying Services hangers that were torn down right after the War was over.

    Thanks Lt Joshua Farmer for the link to more photos. The FSA took many other photos there which can be viewed at www.loc.gov/pictures/search/?q=Civil+Air+Patrol%2C+Bar+Ha.... There are a number of portraits there that don't have names. It would be nice to get to those people identified.
