Name: Hans Grendahl Date of Birth/Death: 1877-1957 Birthplace: Rennebu, Norway Date of picture: 1924 Location of picture: Hopperstad, Norway Photographers main contribution to location: one of the first people to photograph the church and showcase it's architecture. What location in the Commons was the image found: The Preus Museum collection Why did you go to the collection and why did you select this image: I searched for the collection that i liked the most and it happened to be Preus. I realized I have seen the picture before and learned that Hans was one of the first to photograph the crazy church.

Yes, it is. It's not quite as vibrant as some of the others due to what appears to be an overcast sky, but you can really see the colours pop in the blankets.

Very nice, its not quite as clear as some of the B&W's but it does bring a different atmosphere to the shot!
