I grew up living near both Station and Princess pier and have many fond memories of them. I enjoy seeing historical shots of them such as this one.

It’s almost certainly George Ernest Rodney BROWN. He served in the RANVR and was Mentioned in Dispatches. After the war he had a long career in the shipping industry.
