trove.nla.gov.au/newspaper/article/71244098/5329618 - this pic appeared in the Australian Town & Country Journal on 4th April, 1896...accompanying an article on a trip to the Snowy Mountains made the previous Summer by photographer Charles Kerry and companions...see pic No. 7 titled 'Cootapatamba Lake, Mount Kosciusko - The Highest Lake in Australia' These other pics that appeared in the T&CJ's pictorial are also in the PHM's collection...as far as I can tell, pic No. 5, titled 'Scaling a Glacier', isn't on Flickr...
