Photo dates from post WW2 to early 50s and shows one of the eight Studebaker M29C Weasels that the NSW Tourist Bureau had. The M29C Water Weasel had buoyancy cells in the bow and stern as well as twin rudders. The amphibious parts were discarded during tourism operations.

There is a mountain called Gungahlin near Schlink Pass at he head of the Munyang River. It may be a transliteration of the same word.
