From some relation or other "Undated photo showing Clarke's Sale Rooms, Drogheda, Co. Louth (on the roof to the right). Eugene Clarke, draper (my great grandfather) started the business and had premises on Shop Street and West Street. One of his sons James Bernard Clarke ran the business until 1905 when he emigrated to New Jersey with his wife and 6 children." www.facebook.com/freeirishgenealogyebooks/timeline?filter... (it's the same pic, btw) It still says Clarke on the front as well as the roof so I guess it's pre-1905 (though it's J. A. as opposed to J. B.).
