I was just kidding about the drink though you can be sure it happened, if caught instant dismissal! These guys were so used to things and had plates on the critical ones to tell them what was what and where they went. I remember wathcing some of them in action and they looking like conductors of orchestra's they were so good at their work.

The small building on the right seems to be related to a weighbridge, and the larger building on the right is a Dispensary. The school(s) on the left don't appear on the 1874 town plan, so they appear to date to between 1874 and 1888. 1874 Town Plan: digital.ucd.ie/view-media/ucdlib:41656/canvas/ucdlib:43025
