    We'd love to know more about these three young men. We do know that Kenneth served in the United States military during World War 1 and that, unusually, all three brothers survived.

    In 1908, Kenneth James was a miner, residing in Croydon. Disappears off the electoral rolls after that. 1925, Glen Douglas and Colin Leslie Grant are living in Queen Bess St, Buranda with their Mum. Colin is a motor mechanic and Glen is a grocer. Colin and his Mum enrolled there in 1919.

    I would say that the image is a photographic montage.

    geoffd We agree here that this photo must be a montage. There is an almost identical picture of Kenneth in our collection that might have been used to create the montage. It's really interesting to us, that these three all survived. It must have been unusual.
