Appears to be Gerharda Wilbrink, 1875-1962 Passenger lists at Ancestry.com have -"Gerhard" Wilbrink, single female, born Holland, age 50, arriving Key West, Florida 10 Mar 1926 on the SS Northland from Havana, Cuba, last residence, Cheribon, Java (occupation "None" was crossed out and what looks like "pathologist" handwritten above) -Gerharda Wilbrink, single female, age 50, born Ede, Holland, botanist sailing from San Francisco on the SS Woodrow Wilson arriving in Hawaii on 23 Apr 1926 -"Gerbarba" Wilbrink, single female, age 50, Dutch botanist sailing on the SS President Lincoln from Honolulu, Hawaii on 7 May 1926 for Yokohama Japan with "future permanent residence" listed as Java -Gerharda Wilbrink, single female, age 56 from the Netherlands, arriving New York City from Southampton, England on 23 Feb 1932, last permanent residence Cheribon in "Netherlands Indies" (traveling with Wilhelmina Wilbrink, age 22, secretary) There are also a bunch of unsourced family trees listing Gerharda Wilbrink Birth 19 Jul 1875 in Lunteren Death 17 Jan 1962 in Ede Obituary in Dutch in the European Journal of Plant Pathology with photo of her in profile linked here www.springerlink.com/content/q0725647114242k0/

Interesting how the details of her dress are in sharper focus, but her face is blurry--the focus is definitely on the lace collar...
