Yikes for the listed topic "Cerebral palsied children"-- not quite current terminology there! Can't imagine it would be much use as a search term, even. I do disability history; I might look up "cerebral palsy" or "disability" or "disabled"--and in historical texts, I might even search "crippled" or "handicapped"--but "palsied"?

Hi Penny- Thank you for the catch--we all agree with you here that not only is "palsied" not a useful search term, but more importantly, it's not accurate or sensitive. When we import images to Flickr, it automatically pulls over image metadata, which is often very old--clearly what happened above. We've changed it, and we thank you! Her parents were Anna Belle Purmont and George Hempl (1859-1921); George Hempl was a Michigan-born professor of German philology at Stanford University. Her husband was a zoologist, Edmund Heller (1875-1939), who co-wrote a book about Africa with Theodore Roosevelt. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Edmund_Heller At age 60, Hilda Hempl Heller was collecting fish specimens in Peru in 1950-51.

Although you've listed her as a chemist, it appears that she was a zoologist/biologist. Some more information about her: She was born on 2 Sep 1884 at Au Sable, Chasm, NY. Her parents were William J Hayden & Catherina Alger Hayden.
