They look more like wrestlers than swimmers compared to today's standards. Note the well placed star on the swim trunks.

This is George V of England, who traveled to India in December 1911 to be installed as King-Emperor of India. As a keen and expert shot, he was anxious for a hunting trip. After the ceremony in Delhi, he went north to Nepal.
