Punters not (!) trove.nla.gov.au/newspaper/article/46462728 - a cropped version of this pic appeared in the Australian Women's Weekly, on 21st March, 1936... 'Among the many Sydney visitors was Miss Joan Waddell, only daughter of Dr. George Waddell, who chats of "form" with Mr. Bradley Ryrie, of Goulburn' - Women's Weekly caption... Joan Waddell was Sydney aristocracy. Bradley Ryrie was squatocracy, and a nephew of General Sir Granville Ryrie.
