Apparently this is Polish wrestler Stanislaus Zbyszko (1879?-1967), who is the subject of this page at the Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame website.

After seeing this recently added photo, I'm wondering if maybe the photo above is not Stanislaus Zybszko, but his younger brother, Wladek. On the Internet, many photos identified as Stanislaus Zybszko show him wearing a moustache, while photos of Wladek invariably show him without facial hair.

The Brisbane debut of the masked wrestler, "The Mysterious Ghost," produced a crop of sensational incidents at the Brisbane Stadium, for the newcomer is a bad-man of the best— or worst— type.
His antics were almost reminiscent of John Kilonis, and there
was nothing in the way of roughness that the masquerading mastodon left unattempt. He presented a grotesque
appearance, only his hands, a strip of his neck, his nose and lips being visible.
MYSTIFYING POINTS.
Concerning this Mysterious Ghost business — there are three mystifying points about him and they may be tabulated thus: (a) his name, (b) his weight, which was not stated, and (c) his ability. Ferdy Brayson was the spectre's master at every phase of the game and by contrast the hooded-one proved a cumbersome, ungainly, unskilled workman.
He certainly is strong, and it really seemed that only his strength and endurance saved him from defeat In the last
session. His tactics throughout were questionable — and in fact were questioned both by the crowd and by the
referee, Mr. J. Rivers. The Ghost repeatedly gouged, kicked and bit. and it was apparently a matter of no great
moment to him whether his kicks and punches landed on forbidden territory or not."...
