Married twice to (1) Isabel Valle 1913 (divorced 1921), daughter of Dr Jules F Valle of St Louis, USA. (2) Annie Bryan 1923, daughter of Lt Col Loftus Bryan of Bormount Manor, Wexford, Ireland. www.ebooksread.com/authors-eng/arthur-charles-fox-davies/... His Medal Roll Index Card lists him as a Lieutenant in the Labour Corps. Notes his address as Clonbarron, Athboy, Co. Meath. Eligible 21.12.18.

Jack Howe Australias first clown

    I've been doing some reading up the advertising for La Rosiere's Circus he may had used the name "Ricardo" it mentioned he (Ricardo the clown) also did equestrian performances as part of his clown act. I can't find a mention of his (Jacks) name though in any of the advertising Rosiere seemed to have the real names of his performers in the advertising but Jack (John) Howe's name doesn't appear. It doesn't mean he didn't work for them. Here's his death notice/obituary from 1916 he was 91 when he died. trove.nla.gov.au/ndp/del/article/82177262
