    Cape Girardeau is part of Bible Belt country in Missouri. I'm surprised the film was shown there. Some towns refused to show it, or were at least pressured by evangelical groups to not show it, claiming the film "blasphemous," even though no one had seen it. Thanks for sharing this photo.

    swanq Someone did a lot of work on it between 2012 and 2015, since the marquee was a pile of rubble and the facade was falling off. It still looks sad, but a lot better in the most recent picture.
