Sawyer Scenic Photo [photographer/publisher] was a publisher of many printed and real photo view-cards in Portland, OR from 1920 to 1940. In 1939 they invented the View-Master® stereo viewing system as an alternative to the postcards whose market was declining, and began a stereo-disk product line that has sold more than 1.5 billion View-Master® disks. Carlton Sawyer established a studio in Portland in 1911 where he produced his famous “Sawyer’s Scenic Photos” until 1917. Sawyer sold the business in 1919 and Sawyers later invented the View Master, which is still sold today. So this photo is Circa. 1911-1917

I have one, but unfortunately can't find the slides :(

Thankfully the couple who donated this supplied around 20 slides with it, some of which include the Queen's coronation

This is an awesome photo of a historic building (it was also uploaded by OSU here and credited to Frank Patterson).

The "Oregon Caves Resort" was the first permanent building constructed in what would become Oregon Caves National Monument. Completed in 1924, the building was known as the "Chalet".

Today the Chalet stands beside the majestic Chateau (now often called "the Lodge"). The Chateau was completed in 1934, at which time the Chalet became the gift shop and guide residence, and continues to house Park Service employees to this day. (Male park guides at Oregon Caves were/are known as "cavemen", females as "cave princesses".)
