A Peel-collector (not sure if there is a proper translation for this trade) at the cattlemarket in Utrecht is searching for bones in the peel in the back of a truck so he can bring them to the gluefactory. Holland, Utrecht, March 21th 1941.

  I looked up Schillenboer because I had no idea what a "peel collector" was - it's someone who collects fruit and vegetable peels for use as animal fodder. In English this would be called "swill" - usually fed to pigs. So the closest would probably be "swill collector".
