Kavanaugh has been made Senator from Arkansas for the short term to fill the vacancy caused by the death of Jeff. Davis. The Governor appointed an ad interim Senator whose place Mr. Kavanaugh takes. Mr. Kavanaugh is president of the Southern Baseball League.
