Key West stunt pilot (Fred R.) Freddy Cabanas died in a plane crash in Cozumel, Mexico, on January 15, 2013. "A passenger, Jorge Lopez Vives, host of an extreme sports program, also died in the crash that occurred at a private airfield on the southern island of Cozumel in the state of Quintana Roo, an international tourist destination. The pair were filming a documentary to promote an airshow when the accident occurred, according to Cozumel authorities."[1] Freddy was not flying his own airplane at the time. “It has been said that Freddy Cabanas, Key West pilot and superhero, turned more people on to flying than all of the US Air Force combined." The DOF and sense of perspective in this is great. Makes me feel dizzy just looking at it.
