Actually, one of 20th Century Fox's conversions for the film, "Tora, Tora, Tora!" which combined a North American AT-6 (trailing edge of the canopy, forward) with the empennage of a Vultee BT-13, with a 24" 'splice' connecting the two. The 'giveaway' here is the FAA registration number under the horizontal stabilizer... compare this "reel" Kate with a real Kate at www.flickr.com/photos/sdasmarchives/7586023786/in/set-721...
