Enrique Robles was a toreador. This is presumably from his time in the New York area, 1913. Eg: "George C. Tilyou of Steeplechase Park will offer as a special attraction Senor Enrique Robles, the champion bullfighter of Spain and Mexico, who has been engaged with his company of forty bandartillos, matadors and toreadors, besides a number of Mexicans horsemen and American cowboys, and will give exhibitions of bullfighting, exactly as in Spain, with the elimination of all brutal features." NY Times, September 7, 1913.
