King's Cross Reconstruction Work

Hmm, I'm minded to think this may well be earlier - the large scale works to reconstruct the Circle/H&C/Met platforms here was completed in c1936/8 and I suspect this may show that work. Also - trams not trolleybuses as you'd have found post-war. I'll check.

I agree - the buses suggest mid to late 30s, and tram routes round Kings Cross were converted to trolleybus operation in 1938.

Hainault welded bridge

In 1935 the Transport Museum started a "New Works Programme". The work started in 1938 but was suspended when WW2 began. It recommenced in 1946. Development of the suburb of Hainault was begun in the late 1920s.

The new 'Met' station at KX opened in 1941.. surely this was taken earlier than 1946?

It should read more like 1936 or so. Trams had disappeared from Kings Cross/Euston Road by 1939.
