AE Fawcus lived (or owned) Gethumbini Estate having arrived in Thika in 1922. Perhaps members of the Fawcus family may remember the Headman. Others who lived (or owned) Gethumbini Estate include the Lane family Ronald and Gladys (nee Shaw) both long deceased but post 1945. They arrived in Thika in 1937. They had a son and daughter Marjory who married a Secombe. Likewise this family could assist in identifying and naming the Headman.
