From NYTimes dated May 17, 1912. Their mother came over from France to be reunited with the boys.

"Four-year-old Michel and two-year-old Edmond Navratil, the two waifs who were saved from the sinking Titanic and brought to this city under the temporary guardianship of Miss Margaret Hayes, of 304 West Eighty-third Street, another survivor, are waifs no longer. They have a mother now, just like other children of less romantic and adventurous infancy."

Here's bio of their father. Apparently, he'd taken the boys from their mother and was making his way to America. His body was recovered from the ocean:

Interesting. This looks like a case where the title on the negative "Louis & Lola ? - Titanic survivors" is the best choice to reflect the temporary loss of their real names. Will add a note to provide that info and a bit of the circumstances. Same for the 2 related images:

I find any information on Titantic passengers fascinating. It is such a tragic piece of history
