    Another view of the bandstand from around 1901. Comments in that photo point to earlier images without telegraph poles, so could this be from before 1900?
    The Queen Victoria statue which I think is visible in the next image arrived in 1888 so it would have to be after that.

    Don Shearman It's "c.1915" according to the blurb!

    The T&G Building (see note) cnr Elizabeth and Park Streets. First five floors built 1889, top three floors added in 1913. Demolished and replaced 1926.

    The bandstand in the photo seems to have a more dome-shaped roof than the other photo.
    They built the third and last T and G building in around 1979.
    And I can't see the church in Liverpool street which was in the photo last month.

    The "kiosk", as it was known, was built in 1907 - trove.nla.gov.au/ndp/del/page/5717131 - bottom illustration - see also next page for the blurb on "the recently erected" kiosk.
    I am not sure that it was a Vernon building as it was a Sydney City Council project, not NSW State - trove.nla.gov.au/ndp/del/article/14737097 .
    Demolished in 1953 - trove.nla.gov.au/ndp/del/article/27527273 (2nd last sentence)
