desmondg47 I was concerned about the windows! But look here: catalogue.nli.ie/Search/Results?lookfor=Conningbeg&ty... and the Poole negative numbers are consecutive, implying the title and subject of the photo is correct...

Ferdinand Kuehn was a wireless (telegraph) operator from the Bronx who, in January 1914, was working on the ocean liner "Monroe." When the Monroe wrecked and began to sink, Kuehn gave his life preserver to a woman, and he died. He was twenty years old.
