    I met an aboriginal woman in Orange NSW in 2012 and she said Walgett had not changed when I showed her old pictures my father took back then as AWB officer in 1950s.

Photos such as these are very valuable records for families as often the only photos taken. Also they give us so much other valuable information too. When can we get a look please?     Many years ago I was talking to a fellow passenger on a flight in the US and who had visited Australia in the 60's and was delighted at the opportunity to ask me about a riddle which had bemused him since his trip so long ago. He had checked in to a regional airport and the airline staff member didn't allow him on the plane saying "Sorry Ockka the Fokker's chocka" which means to any Australian "Sorry Mate the plane is full" I wonder what happened to all those many Fokker Friendship aircraft servicing regional Australia.
