Looks like a fun kindergarten class - toy animals, shuttlecock and a pet dog too!

The address over on the rh corner provides a few clues...jus googling around, I notice there's a 28 Collins Rd, Southsea, in Hampshire... homepage.ntlworld.com/stephen.pomeroy/local/schools.pdf (see p.24...warning largish document) suggests we might be looking at Miss Emily Capon's private school which was evidently located at this address in 1915...maybe this is a pic of Miss Emily and her charges! OK, how did this pic end up in Sam Hood's collection...that might be an interesting story! Scenes from Childhood! or maybe the cast of Pooh Bear (the silent movie). Beautiful!
