I seem to recall an Irish patriot, maybe one of the Young Irelanders who escaped Van Diemen's Land, relocated then later passed away in California, back in 1924, but I am not 100% sure.

That's a good clinch she has him in! can't tell you how Hanna came by them but Richard Dix was nominated for an Oscar for his role. Richard Dix was an American motion picture actor who achieved popularity in both silent and sound film. His standard on-screen image was that of the rugged and stalwart hero. I have found a ref to Dr H., active during the Land Wars. I found the Limerick Leader article in 1955 which shows a facsimile of this photo and refs it to the United Ireland magazine of 1890.
