    this is adorable. it shows then that Halloween was more about fortunes than anything else. I collect vintage Halloween. It was an adult holiday from 1890-1930 and was anything but trick or treat as now. 😈

    With a bit of megazoom and manipulation, one of the big volumes under the rolls on the table appears to have "ORDNANCE SURVEY OF IRELAND" on the spine, and further down "DUBLIN". Actually I'm guessing, all I can make out is "???????? ???VEY OF ????AND" and "??BLIN"
