    Date is off a bit. The Alhambra Theater, pictured here, only had that name between Sept. 1917, and August, 1919.

    This is looking southwest from Polk or Larkin or a little east, toward Van Ness and the hills beyond. Sacred Heart Church at Fell and Fillmore is visible in the distance. Brittain & Co. opened a store at Van Ness and Turk that can also be seen in center distance at higher resolution.

    I think it is Hyde & Sacramento, though I'm not sure. 1201 Hyde was a big house on the northwest corner. I'm assuming the stairs at right lead to it.
