Quite Adept Excellent. So 1935 for a kick-off.

The car at right is registered ZC 6124. This series was used in Dublin from March 1937 to January 1940 and, given the number 6124, it seems likely that it was allocated towards the end of the period.

Looks from the 25" like there should be tram lines in front of it, but between the blurriness of the road and the general policy of the time of ripping up tramlines, there's nothing identifiable in the image. They're not marked on the post-war 6". Edit: The hotel with the tramlines in front of it is a hundred yards behind the cameraman, on the corner of Atlantic terrace. (still standing, btw).

There's a grand collection of masts at the end of the spit, but it doesn't appear to be any of Derrygimla, Crosshaven or Ballybunion.

There's something marked at Salthill that could be posts of some sort: maps.osi.ie/publicviewer/#V2,528134,723732,12,9 Somthing to do with the trams, maybe.

It doesn't necessarily have to be in Ireland - they were in Stolzenfels am Rhein the next year...
