www.powerhousemuseum.com/collection/database/?irn=238513 is a model of the same ship, but later, when she was the Berengaria, June 1913 saw her maiden voyage from Hamburg to New York. See www.freewebs.com/ultimateimperator/maidenvoyage.htm See also books.google.com/books?id=JCmLY7aAqWgC&pg=PA291&l... Apparently she carried extra lifeboats to allay fears of passengers -- after the Titanic had sunk. Aboard was famous chef Escoffier, coming to New York to run the kitchen at the Hotel Pierre.
