    Everything on the presses is hand made. Even the giant nuts holding the upper frame in place. I'm now wondering if the presses were water or oil powered. They're also using a large section chain to hold the work from sagging when hot - we see that to this day in modern forges. Seeing this photo makes me wonder what happened to everything. I expect it went for scrap but what a loss!
