Hi ANMM -- a small correction -- the foundation stone for the Brisbane City Hall was laid in 1920 (by the Prince of Wales/future Edward VIII), but the building wasn't completed and opened until 1930 (by Governor Sir John Goodwin) Regards Peter Eedy
