Looks to me like a posed piece, in which she is "dressed as a fancy maid". Cooking on a fairly new (?) gas stove, I think. Her careful cosmetics are inconsistent with a true maid's role. Mary Pickford Christening Transcontinental Air Transport's Ford Trimotor (5-AT-B) "City of Los Angeles" (NC9646; c/n 5-AT-9) at Glendale Airport for T-A-T's coast to coast service on July 8, 1929. As captured in this series of photos in the SDASM's Luqueer collection, Charles Lindbergh piloted the flight, which also included his wife Anne Morrow Lindbergh as a passenger.
