    It's so sad that only one building remains from this beautiful exposition.

    Beyond the New York State building which is now the county historical museum, all these structures were built with lathe and plaster.

    There's a cool mystery novel entitled "City of Light" that takes place here.

    I think the painter realized later on in the process that he needed to shorten the name "San Franciso" Otherwise it would say "Philly to Frisco".

(Portland, Ore.) on July 26, 1914 with the following story: "Harris and Cramer are an adventurous team who started from Philadelphia a few days ago to travel to the San Francisco Exposition in their "pushmobile."
