That's my grandfather, Bert Creighton (Senior). My dad, BERT CREIGHTON Jr became a Naval Aviator. Bert SR was a pioneer, became an instructor at Pensacola with just under 55 hours as a student. He was Naval Aviator #1017. He left the Navy and as a Dept of Commerce/Lighthouse Div Superintend, he played routes for commercial aviation. He had one of the earliest US transport licenses. He was in WWII at Espírito Santo and was CO at NAS Palmyra.
