    My cousin sister showed me this picture and asked if I knew who it was? The first person to pop into my head was that this is my Grand Mother, she posses very familiar facial features like that of my family members. I love the two pictures. Ansel Adams pictures are outstanding

    BigBean, You asked about why we uploaded photos that were similar to each other from this series of Ansel Adams photographs. A little background: Archivists from the still pictures unit originally selected which images from this series of Ansel Adams photographs would be digitized in the late 1990s. These photos have been available in our online catalog (the Archival Research Catalog, or ARC www.archives.gov/research/arc/) for years. For this Flickr set, our Flickr team just decided to post all of the photos that had been digitized from this series, believing that they were all worth sharing. Thanks, Jill (U.S. National Archives)
