    This appears to be a Morane-Saulnier Type P parasol-wing trainer. However, it looks like its ailerons are missing. There is snow between the spokes of the wheels and they appear to be chocked. Perhaps this is a non-flying "penguin" type conversion used for ground training and taxiing? Here's a photo also in the Babcock collection that appears to be of the same scene and group: www.flickr.com/photos/sdasmarchives/13472077874/

    Hello, this aircraft was operated by the "section de servitude de Sidi Ahmed" (coded BZ for Bizerte in Tunisia). regards PB
